operational approach to management consulting necessarily
begins with the overall work plan. The work plan is
discussed with the client before any work begins. The
work plan clearly describes the problem(s) to be resolved
or the objectives to be achieved. The work plan then
describes the actions to be taken and the expected results,
including deliverables. Monitoring points are written
into the plan to ensure quality control throughout project
execution. Longer projects necessarily include progress
reports, milestones, and sub-goals to be achieved over
the course of the project. Dry Associates then assembles
a project team with the appropriate skills and expertise
to carry out the project from the planning stage to
the completion stage.
